The desire to create has been part of my life as long as I can remember. My materials and methods have changed over time with my ability and maturity. I have explored a wide range of media, including oils, acrylics, ceramics and prints. I am always interested in learning. About fifteen years ago, I decided to try watercolors for the first time. My only regret is I should have tried them sooner. They are very user-friendly for me. If you only have a short time to paint and the paint dries, just add water. I love color, any color, although some of my friends think everything I do has some purple in it. My inspiration has mostly come from nature.  I am fortunate that we have a place on the water, and it has provides me with a rich source of ideas. I am interested in the light and the shadows. I like the relationships between objects. My methods are traditional with a little experimentation. The results are simply my interpretation of what I see.
