Marie loves to draw in ink, and often adds watercolors to her drawings.  She also works in watercolor, colored pencil, and most recently has created more abstract pieces using collage techniques.

She depicts tropical subjects around her second home in Sarasota, Florida, and finds inspiration in her garden and nearby woods, beaches and birds, and local scenes.

She has been taking art classes for a number of years, and is a member of the Art League of Alexandria.
