From a foundation of traditional watercolor technique Linda Maldonado has explored acrylic and collage methods for more abstract expressions. Her current work explores the possibilities of layers, textures, and veils of color for depicting emotional and spiritual depth. She develops her own stamped and painted papers for collages and has taught workshops in these methods. Linda is a member of the Art League of Alexandria, Potomac Valley Watercolorists, and the Arlington Artists Alliance. Her work is frequently on display in local exhibits.
