Kate has always found nature to be heart-breakingly beautiful--mostly because of the way that somehow, the colors find their own way to be perfect. She paints mostly abstract paintings in oil. She decides on which colors to use based on her moods, and whether she's feeling inspired by nature. Her goal is to make viewers feel a wave of calm and simple happiness wash over them when they see her art.
