Although Anne has experimented with many different forms of art, including oil painting, she currently is focusing on botanical watercolors. Working from live plants, Anne renders detailed drawings, which eventually become brightly colored watercolor paintings of plant flowers, roots, bulbs, leaves, and stems.
Anne has studied extensively at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, earning a certificate in drawing and painting. She also has studied at the Brookside Gardens School of Art and Illustration. Anne shows her work widely in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and has won several awards honoring her works. She belongs to the American Society of Botanical Artists, theArlington Artists Alliance, theBotanical Art Society of the National Capital Region, andThe Art League.
