Ann Bolster works primarily in oil or oil and gold leaf, but she also works in acrylic and collage. She paints landscapes, still lifes, and animals, particularly cats and foxes. The rich colors she uses are inspired by the natural dyes of old textiles and carpets. She accepts commissions of animals.
